A Roll of Tissue and Hankies Please.. (Heartbreak Station)

Tweet I just made a biggest mistake in a tech world. I have deleted a folder thinking I have already uploaded the files in Picassa. Actually those are text messages I have saved through camera (using Macro setting). I was feeling a little sentimental and I have decided to copy everything some 3 weeks ago before going on vacation.

I just realized I have not uploaded everything and the thought of going through all the messages in my phone just to copy everything makes me sick. I would spend another 3 hours going through all the messages. There are 1,000 ++!!!

Just when I thought I am so ready to move on..

I guess I would need a roll of tissue and some nice hankies.

Speaking of hankies, just sharing these Armando Caruso hankies I had bought.

Just love the designs!

Been using Armando Caruso since I was in grade school.

And until now, my mom would go ballistic if I lose a hanky.. I wonder how would she react if she finds out her daughter loses the love of her life..

H&M Central (Hong Kong) Purchases

Tweet Just sharing some of the purchases from my Hong Kong trip last first week of May.

These are all from H&M. We checked and spent hours in H&M Central store, but there is not much good pieces (and I was kinda disappointed with the designs and styles). These are the pieces that really caught my eyes, (and wallet).

Some of the items which are on sale are like mass-produced, so I have to say No. I also bought a lip gloss (HK$30.00), Hello Kitty ponytails (HK $20.00) and animal print wallet/coin purse (HK $30.00).

I have to say this again, I LOVE SHOPPING!!!

A Wedding and A Heartbreak

Tweet Attended friends' wedding this afternoon (friends' because the bride and groom are both close to me).

The wedding is not a disappointment, imagine they only had 3 months to prepare. The best part of course, is the photo booth. It beats the usual figurine, dove-like giveaways that are so 1980s.

I was the unlucky one who would get married next. I am talking about the bouquet-garter thingy. The couple set up all the single ladies and gents who are close to them for a "special photoshoot" as the emcee had said, and the last thing I know, he was announcing that we are now officially part of the game.

To make a long-story short, I lose the game and I got my pic taken with that white satin garter on my left leg and a guy on his knees. I have to thank myself for wearing nice shoes that night! A few more minutes, and I was standing next to the bride and groom, with that unfortunate guy on my left, and I was holding this flower bouquet for a photo shoot.

Priests, pastors, and ministers are busy announcing "I now pronounce you man and wife..", and I have a couple of friends who had said their parts of "I do's".. Suddenly, it gives me pictures of how I want my wedding to be. It is weird, and I hate it. They said little girls always dream of their weddings, but I did not when I was younger. So these thoughts just make me sick, and I have to think, "erase, erase.. delete.. backspace.. CTRL ALT DELETE"..

.. especially at this time, when the person I so wanted to spend my life with (though I am not thinking forever yet) makes me feel that he never wanted me in his life.

Been Gone.. I am Back - with Purchases!

My blog, you have missed alot about my life. I have been through heartaches, failures, disappointments, shopping spree and fun.

Now I am back..

And let's talk about shopping again! My favorite topic in this blog.

I went to SM before heading home to find a gift for the wedding I will be attending tom. But what I have bought are gifts for myself! I am not planning it, but the store is calling me - SHOES!

Here are my new purchases.

The wedge pair is just so beautiful and I know I have to buy it!

The aquamarine.. well, I needed it to go with my dress tomorrow.. So it has to go inside the shopping bag.

Am I happier? Yeah, just for a few minutes. Then realization kicks in, I have to pay my credit card due on the 28th, and I already have charges waiting for me on June's billing. The amount I have to pay for that 5-day vacation.

Have I mentioned I bought a new phone (MyPhone) too? A commuter phone since the one I was using (ETouch) is not functioning well. This is a rare time when you get a new phone and you don't feel excited on twitching and exploring its functions.

Now, I am off to bed for a stronger and driven working woman that I am.

(But let me just fit the shoes again, and adore them.. ;) )
