Clinique Happy-To-Go Stick Perfume

I got this perfume from a balikbayan friend from US last December. The pouch consists of 3 pencils/crayons with scents of Clinique Happy. And I meant, true scents.

Pencils marked as a wealth of flowers, a hint of citrus, and clinique happy; and I am not disappointed.

Although I am a big fan of Kenzo, I can't deny that Clinique is also a crowd's favorite. The best thing about this perfume packaging is that it is perfect for travelers. I bought one stick during our trip in Bohol two weeks ago. Kept it in my handcarried bag and I don't need to worry about security and baggage regulations (we all know how strict airport personnels are in terms of liquids and flammable items).

You know how I felt being naked without perfume and I always have to bring one. I applied and rolled at the back of my ears, wrists and neck, and the scent lasts whole day (even til the morning after).

I am not sure if this is already available in Manila, but it is currently sold in Nordstrom.

Red Ribbon's Chocolate Heaven

I have a new love.. Red Ribbon's Chocolate Heaven!

Reminds me of Coffee Bean's Turtle Pie and Royal Chocolate Cake!

Rich mousse cake with layer of fudge cake and ganache! Love it! The best part is, it costs half the price of other specialty shops' counterparts!

Might hit the store and buy a whole cake.

FREEBIE ALERT: Sunsilk Damage Hair Repair System

Just had my hair rebonded three weeks ago, and I am still glad that I still have my "crown" shining like a real crown. I have to thank the stylist who did my hair, and thanks to my good genes for giving me such healthy locks.

I need to visit the parlor to have a quick hair spa. In time with this schedule, I received my sample package from Sunsilk.

I registered Friday morning and the package was delivered yesterday, Saturday. I received a call from one of the advertising representatives to confirm my details, and in the afternoon, the package arrived.

To be honest, I am not a fan of Sunsilk. I wouldn't spend peso to try their new products. So thank you for this freebie, might as well give it a chance.. :)

For those who want samples, please text 10DAYS to 2600.

Bohol: Week-long Vacation

It is ironic that after a long week vacation, I feel more tired than ever. I felt like I am jetlagging.. probably because I work at night shift, and now I am in the process of conditioning my body to follow this schedule.

The whole trip is a blast. First, because I get to spend the week with my family. Destination: Bohol. This was not the first time I went there, but I was more excited about this trip because we had an itinerary on place.

The flight with Cebupacific is rough. Flight was delayed for 30 minutes. We were in the plane on time but didn't leave on time. I am guessing that the captain pilot is a neophyte, as evident with the steep take off and bumpy landing.

The hotel is 20 minutes drive from Tagbilaran City. Rough road. It is not the hotel I expected considering its price. What's more surprising is that, the room has no tv set and the room service is only until 8pm. Fine, the room is spacious, the view is nice and there's tub in the bathroom, but this hotel lacks the service basics. We were ready to cancel the rooms, but we would pay 50% of the total bill charge. So we got no choice but sign the guest information record.

Let's talk about the good things. Family bonding. Swimming at the infinity pool. Lunch-outs and dinners (of course, should be Filipino cuisine). Visited Sagbayan Peak and Chocolate Hills again. It's just weird that they installed railings which block the great view of the hills. We went to see the tarsiers. But I was surprised to know that they no longer allow touching of this creatures. They don't want to be stressed out. And they say touch is therapy?

Had a wonderful lunch at Loboc River, but I can't say the food is good. With its price of Php350 per pax, I can't complain no more.

Visited the Bohol Phyton. And I meant, going inside the cage to have my pic taken. God bless my brave soul. I was itchng to go to Danao to try the Zipline, but my family is not that adventurous; so we went to Panglao Island instead. Alona Beach is heaven. White sand (but not as powdery as the one in Madridejos, Cebu), blue sea and the scenes (guests and sights!).

I hope I can forever relive the fun and experience. Thanks to my camera and my sharp memory. But reality is knocking, I have to get back to work. I brought a lot of peanut kisses, star peanuts and kalamays! And yeah, a rose tattoo to go with my not-so-tanned skin. ;)

Wetseal Now Shipping in the PI (Could Be Worldwide?!)

Few ours before my flight, I found myself window shopping again. Online.. and I was surprised to find out that Wetseal website have read that I am browsing from Philippines, and what's even more surprising is that their prices are marked in Peso! That got me thinking that probably the store is now shipping internationally. I added an item on my cart and proceeded to check-out and yes, Wetseal is!

I am not surprised with the shipping rate and taxes though. I did a mock order just to check the rates. For an item worth Php1,542.00, shipping fee is Php2.320 and Duty Free taxes is Php816. The total is Php4,878, and this is just for a cardigan which I took from the Clearance section.

Should you hit check out?! I might think twice. I'd rather buy it in dollars. ;)
