On a Sunday Night Show

I just watched a documentary and interviews with 5 most controversial Philippine Presidents. It's always nice to watch something informative especially if it concerns your country's history (a little break from the usual feel-good shows).

Back in grade school, we only get to study until Aquino's term, and I remember having a hard time catching up on previous president's contributions in the country.. (e.g Green Revolution). Whatever that has happened in the country from then on, I can somehow remember.. (e.g. 8-hour brownout everyday?).

I am a little scared and tensed for my kids, imagine they would study history from Lapu lapu (he was never a president I know right?), until whoever would be the president then. Can we imagine how long that test would be?

Just the same, being in politics, is just like being in any other games..

Men on The Block (New Kids on the Block)

Oh my gosh! The Kids (or should I say the men?) are soo hot! I am so loving YouTube and all the other NKOTB fans who uploaded videos (old and new!), and I practically watched every video until my eyes hurt before I went to bed this afternoon.. and now, Im logged back in, and watching them again!

They all gotten age beautifully.. and they can still move!

It was so brave for Jon to actually doing the comeback, especially after having severe panic attacks back then (check out the Oprah episode on Panic Attacks). Now I understand why he is always quiet and shy back then (but now people are thinking he is gay - how mean.. tsk. tsk.) But I love him just the same.

I hope they would do Philipine Tour next year.

Old New Kids On the Block

So it is true! Jordan, Donnie, Joe, Jon and Danny are back!

How can I forget them? We were so into them when we were younger.. and I know I loved Jon back then (but is this I am hearing that he is gay?!)

We even sent a note to the fan club, and yes we did receive the generic mail with pictures and their autograph. Too bad I lost the copy two years ago.. Im sure that thing would be so valuable now.. after what? 18 years?

Aren't they beautiful?

I still remember their videos.. and their dance steps! Haha. We even danced the Cover Girl song back in grade school!

My sister used to borrow betamax tapes from her high school classmate to watch The Kids' concerts! (yes, the only means back then.. kids are so lucky now to have Youtube.com)

Who can forget about their hits..? Please Don't Go Girl.. This One's for the Children.. Right Stuff.. Hanging Tough.. and I always love Let's Try It Again, don't know why? Haha. And yeah, they did back up for Tommy Page.. and Jon's girlfriend back then is Tiffany!

I love them! and I love the memories back then.. Nostaligia.

Alone and Lonely

It's been months the last time I cried.. and yesterday I cried out of frustration.

I miss crying at the arms of someone who cares and comforts you..

My room, which has been my santuary is the only witness of my frustration, anger and loneliness. The only place which shields me from my family, who I don't want to see me cry and just get hurt.

What a better way to divert your thoughts and not dwell on the problems? Beadmaking.. surfing.. opening up to your friend, and watching movies..

And the ultimate way to make you feel a little better.. praying.
