DVD Night

Tweet Weekend and stormy. I got lucky I was able to finish watching 2Fast 2Furious DVD before the citywide brown out. I know I am pathetic that I only get to see this movie just now, after what, 7 years? Hehe. But it's okay. Watching movie is a thing for lovers. Lately, I never get bitter even if I missed out on a lot of good movies. And it's not too hard to turn down a couple of invites. There's no one to share the film with anyway. Someone I like. So Id rather enjoy the film at the comfort of my room, with my pillow, and a few good snacks, in my pajamas.

Anyway, the point of this blog is I just discovered that Paul Walker is one hot man! Yes! Love the guy! I fell inlove with him the whole duration of the film. It's not nice that they started the movie with him in just a plain white shirt.





I completely adore men in white shirt! And this one is hot! hot! hot! And even in shorts, he's still adorable and hot. And I love the character. For some reason he reminds me of this guy.. maybe because this guy is such a driver too.

And with a little research and googling, I realized he's the same man in Into the Blue. Hot, indeed. I imagine getting pounded with that hot body!

Yes, that's the bag I was carrying when I got home yesterday afternoon after paying some bills. I missed shopping! and I meant instore shopping. For a couple of months, Ive been so enganged in online shopping because of its convinience. I so hate traffic and walking that I almost give up this sport. Yes, I consider shopping a sport! Anyway, Ive been drilling my mom since last month to go shoe shopping. I have such a big shoe size, and I remember when I was in High School and College, Kickers is the only shoe brand my feet knew (because that's where I only have a size! and it came to me that I have to buy whatever shoes fit me, whether I like the design or not).. until I grew wiser and do online shopping. And now, buying new pair of shoes means going to Makati and all other places and malls which sell US brand and offer US sizes, which we both hate. I hate traffic remember?



And so, I felt like Cinderella when I tried a pair in So Fab! I never know I have a size in that store. The bomb is they are on sale! So I ended up buying 4 pairs! It's nice to discover a new mecca near my place. Lovely, just lovely!

Who Wants Sex in the City?!

Tweet Just to end this Sex and the City phenomena - the drama, the clothes, the shopping, their sex lives (and my lack of it!), the movie is such a conclusion. I bet there are more better films to come soon..

And for the record, it's Sex and the City, not Sex in the City (now that is some live show huh?)



So if you see a sign board in your local movie theatre with this sign, don't run and save yourself from police raid.. nothing's going on, just a sample of a misheard title.

Walking on the Carpeted Floor..

Tweet I cannot remember the last time Ive received an award.. or the last time I was commended for good work. Probably, 2 years ago when our team won the Christmas Party Presentation (it was a bomb since we just practiced the presentation the night before the event!). It's not that I am not an achiever or a performer. Somehow Ive already mastered the art of receiving an award. Haha. I cannot remember how many times I have been on stage to receive an award or commendation or prize (not counting the graduation days of course!).

Back in grade school, every year, I went up the stage with my mom and received my Most Behaved Recognition (yes, no kidding!) and Second Honor Award (I was always on second during the last grading period! I always lose the top spot!) I was all dolled up in white and I sure look like a doll when I was younger. For some reason, my mom was always pissed about this whole recognition thing because that means she needed to be absent at work, just to attend and be with me on stage and had our picture taken together. People wont believe that I was such a quiet and shy kid then.

Anyway, it was a great surprise to be recognized again, and be on the spotlight (coz there isnt any stage, really), and just be totally yourself. Spotlight in the sense that I did something worth people's attention, and not just being on spotlight just because I am being the silly me again (which is always the case). Not to brag or anything, but this whole thing is just plain unexpected, what I am trying to say is always be prepared and look your best.. co'z you wouldnt know when you would have to walk down the red carpet, be on the spotlight and then the camera would go flashing.

We all know that, right?
